The short version: what's between you two stays between you two. No feed, no followers, no audience. Your content is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shown to anyone but the two of you.
What we collect
Your account: the email address you sign in with.
What you two save: the notes, photos, plans, dates, and messages you and your partner put into HappyLuv.
Device basics: a push-notification token so reminders can reach you, and standard technical logs that keep the service running.
How the concierge uses it
HappyLuv's concierge reads what you save so it can do its job: notice a date, keep a gift hint, remind you at the right moment, and help when you ask. When it looks something up for you — weather for Saturday, a table for two, tickets — it shares only what the lookup needs (like a city and a date), never your identity or your conversation.
What we never do
We never sell your data, to anyone, for any reason.
We never use your content to target advertising — there are no ads in HappyLuv.
We never show your content to other users. There is no public anything.
We never use your content to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. The AI providers the concierge relies on process your requests to answer them, not to train on them.
We never let booking partners see who you are. (When a booking earns us a commission, that's disclosed — see the affiliate disclosure.)
Where your data lives
Your data is stored with our infrastructure providers (database and file storage), protected by row-level security so that only your couple's two accounts can access it. Photos are stored privately and served only through short-lived signed links.
How long we keep things
By default, what you save stays — that's the point of HappyLuv. Your chats, memories, plans, and dates are kept for as long as your shared space exists, so both of you can look back on them.
Disappearing chat is yours to turn on. In Settings, either of you can set chats to auto-delete after 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. The change is announced in your thread so it's never a secret. Only chat messages and their photos disappear — memories, plans, and dates always stay until you remove them.
If one of you leaves, the shared space stays with the remaining partner. Messages the leaver wrote remain visible but no longer carry their name.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Delete account). Your login is removed immediately and your name comes off everything you wrote; the shared space itself stays with your partner. Once both partners have left a couple, its space is closed — no one can join or see it again — and its photos are removed from storage. You can also email us and we'll handle any of this for you.
